Job summary

SF Partners in Glasgow (Maryhill) is seeking a Facilities Support Assistant to join a busy laboratory environment. The role involves stocking, ordering consumables, equipment upkeep and daily facilities tasks to support scientists in their work.

The ideal candidate is practical, reliable and organized, with a willingness to follow Health & Safety procedures. Training will be provided to help you grow within theFacilities team.

Qualifications

• Laboratory experience is useful but not required.
• Hands-on, practical approach with strong organisational skills.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.
• Comfortable following Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Check stock levels and order chemicals, solvents and consumables.
• Receive and manage deliveries across the site.
• Clean, maintain and test scientific equipment as required.
• Monitor fridge/freezer temperatures and maintain records.
• Manage waste streams and keep safety equipment stocked.
• Support COSHH and wider Health & Safety requirements.
• Keep laboratory records up to date and accessible.
