Lab Technician (Progression to Service Engineer) – £35,000‑£45,000 + Bonus (OTE £52,000) + Company Car + Expenses Package – Watford, Covering South East.

Are you a Lab Technician, Researcher or similar looking for expert training to become a technical specialist Field Service Engineer? Do you want a varied workload of validation, service and calibration for an international business that turnover nearly £2 billion annually?

On offer is a unique opportunity to switch careers and become a technical expert. In this role you'll be working on specialist lab equipment – specifically covering incubation and ultra‑low temperature use cases. You'll be trained in all aspects of the role with the goal of becoming a fully autonomous Field Service Engineer, travelling to customer sites across the UK and Europe.

Founded 60 years ago, this company supplies their products globally into the healthcare, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology markets. With a healthy turnover of £60 million, they are looking to continue growing their sales worldwide.

The Role
  • Carrying out maintenance, servicing and validation on laboratory equipment.
  • Travelling across the South East of England primarily.
  • Full training provided through shadowing and manufacturer visits.

Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4 pm or 9 am – 5 pm.
