Proclinical is seeking a Lab Technician Consultant to join a research team in the UK. This role focuses on supporting laboratory operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily activities in a research environment. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to sterile techniques, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reagents, including LB broth, LB agar plates, and buffers.
• Perform aliquoting using sterile techniques, such as for tissue culture reagents.
• Conduct general housekeeping tasks, including refilling consumables at workstations.
• Prepare items for washing and autoclaving, and coordinate with service providers.
• Support waste disposal processes, ensuring compliance with local rules and proper recycling practices.
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment in collaboration with the lab team.
• Regularly clean and maintain equipment and laboratory spaces.
• Unload and store daily deliveries efficiently.
