This is a rare opportunity for lab specialists to join a growing team at the forefront rocket propulsion in the UK. A start-up now 50 strong with significant investment, you’ll have the chance to assist in taking chemical processes from the lab, through to industrial production.

With your work feeding directly into the design and manufacture of rocket motors and related systems, this role will give you the unique chance to see your contributions come to life onsite. You will support research and development activities, working closely with scientists and engineers to prepare, characterise and test applications. Your key responsibilities will involve synthesisation, analytical testing and documentation, as well as following key compliance and safety protocols.

What are we looking for?
  • 2 / 3 years minimum experience within a chemical or polymer lab environment (academic or industrial) and used to following key protocols (OSHA,SDS,PPE)
  • Any technical qualification in chemistry, science or materials science would be preferred.
  • Any experience with characterisation instruments ( GPC / FTIR) and previous working to GMP / ISO regulations would be nice to have.
