Key role responsibilities, to:
- Receive, process, and analyse samples to the highest ethical standards.
- Prepare representative samples using techniques such as milling, splitting, riffling, and sieving.
- Prepare powder samples for analysis using Fire Assay, Oxidising Fusion, and classic wet chemistry techniques.
- Conduct analysis using ICP-OES, XRF, and Leco Carbon analysers.
- Perform routine equipment checks, calibrations, and maintenance.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation in the laboratory at all times.
- Conduct analysis using ICP-OES, XRF, and Leco Carbon analysers
- Work safely and in full compliance with HSE standards and company procedures.
Essential skills and requirements:
- Strong practical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and written instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
- Experience within a laboratory or materials testing environment
