AB Vista Lab Services operates from laboratories in Hengoed, Wales, United Kingdom supporting our global business in animal nutrition by performing quality analysis on feed additives and ingredients.

We are looking for a supportive partner keen to contribute to daily laboratory operations such as:

Responsibilities
  • Receiving and logging samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Preparation and weighing of samples ready for analysis
  • Preparation of buffers for standard analytical methods
  • Checking a variety of laboratory equipment to ensure its within calibration limits and re‑calibration if necessary
  • Potential opportunities to gain experience with other lab duties and perform some testing subject to training (ELISA, NIR, Wet Chemistry, Microbiology, HPIC, etc.)

The lab is conveniently located, approximately 10 minutes’ walk from Ystrad Mynach rail station and in reasonable driving distance of Caerphilly and Cardiff.
