L4G Project Co-ordinator

Part time (22.2 hours) flexible hours.
Salary: £24,319 pro rata.
Permanent subject to funding.

The Project Co-ordinator will play a key role in the smooth running of Longley 4G projects. Working closely with the Business Development Manager, the Project Co-ordinator will work to ensure the Community Centre is a vibrant, well-managed facility that operates within a sustainable framework for the benefit of local residents and organisations. They will also promote the profile, role and impact of the Centre.

As the role is wide and varied in scope, we would encourage applicants to apply with a view to developing and learning on the job with the support from the L4G and wider SOAR team.

Key areas of responsibility
  • Plan and deliver projects in line with agreed deliverables and budgets.
  • Plan and deliver children’s activities and family events.
  • Recruitment of activity providers or qualified instructors where necessary.
  • Recruitment, training and development of volunteers.
  • Completion of project monitoring and impact reporting.
  • Marketing the Centre and identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Build relationships and partnerships with a diverse range of people and stakeholders to support the development of community groups and activities.
  • Work closely with the Trustees, SOAR and L4G Management.
