Level 3 Trainee Accountant
Location: Brighton
Contract: Full-time

Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level? Join our dynamic Regulatory and Technical Reporting team and play a key role in delivering essential financial insights that shape the future of our business.

Why this role matters

You’ll be at the heart of producing critical regulatory reports (Solvency UK/II, FCA) and supporting our actuarial and finance teams with accurate, timely analysis. Your work will help ensure compliance, strengthen decision‑making, and maintain the integrity of our financial systems.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver Solvency UK/II reporting, including qualitative templates and the Solvency Financial Condition Report.
  • Provide analysis for actuarial surplus reviews.
  • Maintain and manage the reporting timetable, collaborating across finance and actuarial teams.
  • Prepare quarterly, half‑yearly, and annual FCA and MiFID returns.
  • Produce monthly Capital Management analysis for subsidiary companies.
  • Support year‑end audits when required.
  • Partner with the Deputy Group Financial Controller and wider team to meet key objectives.
  • Contribute to broader finance initiatives and process improvements.
