Job summary

Lorien in Belfast is seeking a Level 3 SOC Analyst to own security operations, threat detection and incident response within a growing cyber team using cutting-edge Microsoft security technologies.

You will lead complex investigations, conduct threat hunting, enhance SIEM monitoring and remediation efforts, and mentor junior analysts while collaborating with stakeholders in an enterprise-scale environment. Hybrid role with two days on-site weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SOC, security operations or IR role.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
• Strong monitoring and threat detection capabilities.
• Proficient with SIEMs such as Sentinel/Defender and related tooling.

Are you an experienced SOC Analyst looking to take ownership of high-impact cyber security operations within a growing and highly respected security function?
We're hiring a Level 3 SOC Analyst to join a leading cyber team where you'll be at the forefront of threat detection, incident response, threat hunting and SIEM engineering, working with cutting-edge Microsoft security technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading complex security investigations and incident response activities

• Collaborating with stakeholders and driving continuous improvement across the SOC

What You'll Need

• Experience within a SOC, Cyber Security Operations or Incident Response environment
• Strong security monitoring and threat detection capabilities
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC)
• Experience with technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, KQL, QRadar, LogRhythm, SOAR platforms and other SIEM tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

• SC-200 (Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate)
• Microsoft security technology experience
