Job summary

The Little Lot Nursery in Warrington is seeking a Nursery Practitioner who loves working with children in the early years and enjoys creative, messy activities. You will join a small, friendly team and use your own initiative with a positive can-do attitude.

We welcome applicants qualified at Level 2 (early years) or nearing completion, and are committed to safeguarding children. This permanent, full-time role offers term-time flexibility and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Experience or qualification in Early Years (Level 2 or above) or near completion.
• Ability to work well in a team and use own initiative.
• Positive can-do attitude with flexibility to support children.

Responsibilities

• Support children in early years activities and creative play.

• Cover Breakfast Club and Stay & Play sessions when bookings require.

We are a small charitable, Trustee managed, nursery that has been operating for over 30 years We are currently rated 'Good' by Ofsted and have a strong waitlist. We view our team members as our extended family and most of our staff have worked at the nursery for many years.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate for this role will be a Nursery Practitioner who is keen to work with children in the early years and who loves to be creative and get messy. You should be able to work as part of a team and use your own initiativeWe are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude and the willingness for every child in your care to succeed. We are looking for someone who is qualified at Level 2 (early years) or above or is about to finish their qualification. We ask for commitment to your role but with a fun, can do attitude and flexibility.
