Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join its London investment team, focusing on generating long/short ideas and conducting fundamental research across high yield, stressed and distressed credits.

You will perform in-depth analysis, build financial models, monitor portfolio positions and present opportunities to senior colleagues, contributing to capital allocation and risk management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in credit investing, credit research, special situations, distressed investing, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of high yield, stressed, and distressed credit markets.
• Demonstrable experience conducting fundamental bottom-up credit analysis.
• Excellent financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
• Ability to independently generate and articulate investment views.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic record.
