Job description

We are delighted to be partnering with an award‑winning housing association to recruit a L&D Assistant on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a full‑time role, offering a competitive salary of £30,830.97 per annum.

The position will be primarily remote, with occasional on‑site requirements in Buckinghamshire.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Coordinating the checking and recording of employee qualifications held on company systems
  • Supporting the Employee Development team in implementing training requirements
  • Gathering employee and resident feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing and improving service delivery
  • Developing digital learning resources to support competency and conduct requirements
  • Working with managers to optimise skills development for their teams in line with new government standards
  • Supporting the realignment of policies and procedures to meet updated standards
  • Assisting employees by responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, particularly the Employee Development Policy and Performance Management Policy
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey and interpret complex information effectively
  • Highly organised, with strong time management, administrative, and prioritisation abilities
  • Confident in using IT systems, demonstrating good intermediate digital skills
  • Committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery
