Job summary

TimePlan Education is seeking a KS5 Learning Mentor for an all-girls secondary school in East London to support Year 12 students and help them transition from GCSE to post-16 study.

The role requires a proven track record of supporting KS5 students, safeguarding experience, DBS declarations and two professional references; the school offers strong CPD and an ongoing long-term assignment starting September 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of supporting KS5 students within a school or 6th form college.
• DBS check declarations and safeguarding training as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day mentoring and pastoral support to Year 12 students, helping them settle into KS5.
• Build positive relationships and act as a consistent point of contact for advice and guidance.
• Monitor attendance and punctuality; maintain accurate records and follow up on unexplained absences.
• Liaise with teachers, tutors, pastoral staff and parents to support student progress.
