Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment seeks a skilled Hair & Beauty Tutor to deliver Level 1 provision for KS4 students in Bromley. You will adapt teaching to meet SEN needs and help learners develop practical skills and confidence for further education or employment.

The role involves delivering Level 1 qualifications, differentiating instruction, and tracking progress in a supportive, inclusive setting. This is a fixed-term 1-year contract on a 2-day-per-week schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires Level 3+ Hair & Beauty qualification.
• Experience delivering Level 1/2 vocational qualifications.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience with SEN or alternative provision settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Level 1 Hair & Beauty lessons for KS4 learners.
• Differentiate learning to support students with SEN needs.
• Deliver accredited Level 1 qualifications.
• Track progress and contribute to assessment and reporting.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and practical learning environment.
• Support employability and personal development.
