A progressive educational institution in Bramfield seeks a passionate KS4 English Teacher to join its dedicated team. This role involves delivering high-quality lessons and adapting teaching to maximize student engagement and outcomes. Candidates should have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a nurturing, pupil-centred approach. Unique benefits include participation in a 4-Day Working Week trial to promote work-life balance. Opportunities for leadership and a supportive atmosphere await the right candidate.
Working closely with senior leaders and specialist staff, you'll play a key role in helping every learner move forward – academically, emotionally, and socially.
At Bramfield House School, an independent special educational needs school for boys aged 7–16 with social, emotional, mental health, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, located in rural Suffolk, we are seeking an exceptional KS4 English Teacher to join our passionate and close‑knit team in the heart of Suffolk. This opportunity is in Halesworth, within commuting distance of Lowestoft, Diss and surrounding areas.
We’re looking for a motivated, energetic and compassionate English Teacher who dares to think differently. At Bramfield House, you’ll teach small classes, build strong and meaningful relationships, and support pupils in ways that extend far beyond exam results.
You’ll bring English to life – sparking curiosity, encouraging self‑expression and helping pupils find their voice, sometimes for the very first time. Whether it’s mastering a paragraph, analysing a poem or gaining the confidence to speak up, your influence will be powerful and lasting.
At Outcomes First Group, we believe in better work/life balance and are putting wellbeing first. We are proud to be part of a 4‑Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, where you can work one day less each week (or equivalent hours) while still receiving your full‑time pay. Many of our schools have already introduced the 4DWW – and others are preparing to roll it out once they are fully staffed.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and young people. All applicants will be subject to social media checks and successful applicants to a fully enhanced DBS.
Your health and wellbeing are important to us, so you’ll get an exceptional reward package including:
