Job summary

Witherslack Group’s Westmorland School in Leyland is seeking a dedicated teacher to support young people with ASD/SEMH needs. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, nurture self-esteem and work within bespoke BEARS and CATS learning environments.

You’ll collaborate with in-house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals, and you’ll enjoy a supportive team, well-resourced classrooms and generous school holidays. Qualified Teacher Status is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be eligible to teach in England.
• Experience in teaching children with special educational needs (SEND) is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication with colleagues and specialists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons to students with ASD/SEMH needs.
• Collaborate with in-house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy teams.
