Responsibilities

As a teaching assistant with Axcis you will:

  • Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child/ren you will be working with.
  • Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
  • Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum.
  • Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
  • Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.
  • Promote independence in line with the setting's policy.
  • Provide support advice and guidance.

  • We are currently recruiting additional Teaching Assistants in schools in Bury and the surrounding areas.
  • We are predominantly mainstream Secondary schools; however, we do have roles available in other settings for the right candidate.
