Job summary

Unity Primary Academy in the REAch2 Academy Trust seeks an Upper KS2 class teacher who will also lead writing across the school. You will manage day-to-day teaching and learning for every child in the class, including SEND, EAL and Pupil Premium pupils, and model outstanding practice for colleagues.

The role requires a proven track record in curriculum development and leadership in writing, with a strong commitment to pupil outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status with demonstrable teaching excellence.
• Track record of improving pupil outcomes and curriculum development.
• Ability to lead writing across the school with impact.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day teaching and learning for all pupils in the class.
• Lead writing across the school as Writing Subject Lead.
• Model outstanding writing practice for staff.
• Demonstrate good and outstanding classroom practice consistently.
