Job summary

A reputable education agency is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 2 in a well-regarded primary school in Stoke-On-Trent. The successful candidate will assist with lesson delivery, engage with students, and provide targeted interventions. A strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and previous experience in a primary setting are essential. This is a long-term, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a primary school, ideally within Key Stage 2.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
• Confident supporting pupils with varying academic and behavioural needs.
• A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support across KS2, working with pupils individually and in small groups.
• Assist with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and pupil engagement.
• Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy.
• Support the implementation of the KS2 curriculum under teacher guidance.
