Location: Doncaster (DN4)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-3:15pm
Duration: Initial 2 weeks, highly likely to extend until 19th December or longer

Provide Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school located in the DN4 area of Doncaster, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive within a mainstream school setting.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be working predominantly within Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). While the exact year group is to be confirmed, the role will involve providing targeted support to individual pupils or small groups to help them access learning, regulate behaviour, and develop confidence and independence.

This position requires someone who is patient, proactive, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and wider support team to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with SEND
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, social skills, and engagement
  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
  • Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff
  • Adapting resources and activities to meet individual learning needs
