Ribbons & Reeves is seeking a KS2 Teacher Literacy Specialist in Chelmsford to join a welcoming, inclusive school on a permanent, full-time basis. The role focuses on delivering personalised literacy lessons to a small nurture class within Year 7 and supporting pupils' reading, writing and comprehension while managing a normal timetable with 20% PPA.

KS2 Teacher Literacy Specialist Chelmsford A welcoming and inclusive school in Chelmsford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher with a strong Literacy specialism to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with smaller groups and is passionate about delivering a personalised approach to learning, with a particular focus on developing pupils' literacy skills.

The Role

• Teach a small nurture class within Year 7.
• Take full responsibility for planning, assessment and pupil progress.
• Deliver engaging, personalised lessons with a strong focus on Literacy.
• Support pupils to develop their reading, writing, communication and comprehension skills.
• Provide strong pastoral support and build positive relationships with pupils.
• Help pupils transition successfully into secondary school.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
• Have a normal teaching timetable with 20% PPA.
