Job summary

Catering in Bournemouth, Dorset is seeking a KS2 Teacher to deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum, while supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.

You will create an inclusive classroom, differentiate learning for all pupils including those with SEND and EAL, and prepare pupils for statutory assessments, including SATs where appropriate. A positive, adaptable approach and safeguarding commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupils' progress.
