Job Summary

The Governing Board at Wharton is seeking to appoint a full time permanent teacher and KS2 Leader for January 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The role is initially teaching in Year 6 and would suit someone who has experience of, or is ready to take on the role of middle leadership. We are looking for a teacher who is experienced in teaching Year 6 and has a proven track record of supporting excellent pupil progress. The successful candidate is an outstanding teacher and/or leader; someone for whom teaching is a joy and who is relentless in securing academic, social and emotional progress for every child in their own class and beyond. Professional growth and effectiveness are important to us, and we are committed to providing opportunities for teachers to be highly effective.
