Job summary

Qualifications

Location: Manchester (M18 area)
Salary: £600 £800 per week (ECTs welcome paid to scale for long-term roles)
Contract: January to July (long-term)

About the Role

We re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a warm and supportive primary school in the M18 area of Manchester from January 2026 through to the end of the school year. If you re passionate about helping children thrive and want to work in a friendly, caring environment, this could be the perfect opportunity.

You’ll be taking on a KS2 class of around 30 pupils, supported by a brilliant Teaching Assistant. The school is known for its welcoming atmosphere and strong team spirit staff work together, share ideas, and always put the children first.

  • Creating a positive, engaging classroom where children feel confident and excited to learn
  • Differentiating work so that all learners can make good progress
  • Building great relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school team
  • Getting involved in school life and contributing to a supportive, happy learning environment
What We’re Looking For
  • QTS or PGCE
  • Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally within KS2
