Job summary

Premier Education Ltd invites KS2 teachers to join a network of welcoming primary schools across Wigan for September 2026 and the new academic year. Roles include Year 3–6 teaching, day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements, with flexible hours and potential for permanent roles.

ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome, with competitive daily pay. A dedicated consultant supports you throughout placements and access to multiple local schools in the area.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 in primary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 3–Year 6 across primary schools in Wigan.
• Deliver engaging lessons and adapt to different school environments.
• Collaborate with school staff and consultants to meet pupil needs.
• Maintain safeguarding and promote pupil wellbeing as per KCSIE guidelines.

130 - 180 per day depending on experience and qualifications

Premier Education is currently partnering with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Wigan who are looking to appoint Key Stage 2 Teachers throughout September 2026 and the new academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to broaden their experience, as well as experienced teachers seeking flexible work or their next long-term role. We work with schools across Wigan and the surrounding areas, including Leigh, Atherton, Hindley, Standish, Golborne, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Tyldesley, Shevington and Orrell.
