KS2 Teacher • Full‑Time • BS20 • September Start

I am working with a primary school in the North Somerset area who is looking for KS2 teachers. This inclusive school is passionate about ensuring that every child leaves school with the knowledge, skills and experiences to lead happy and successful lives.

The Head Teacher believes in encouraging her pupils to make positive contributions to their community. This school is filled with staff who support one another and always take the extra step to help each other.

The Role

This 2‑form entry school is offering a full‑time opportunity to start in the New Academic Year. They are looking for a candidate who has experience in a KS2 class and has great knowledge of the curriculum to bring an exciting and creative approach to planning. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, this is a great opportunity for you.

You will be expected to :
  • Plan and deliver exceptional lessons.
  • Work closely with other year group staff to provide equal opportunities for children.
  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children.
  • Mark and assess children’s development in line with the schools marking scheme.
  • Communicate clearly with other Key Stage staff.
  • Build relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
