Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher to support local primary schools. The role offers full-time or part-time hours during term time, across Years 3–6, with a focus on independent thinking and subject exploration.

You will deliver high-quality lessons in core subjects, manage behaviour, and collaborate with Year Group Leads and teaching assistants. Weekly pay at £100–£160 per day, with Friday payments.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• KS2 specialist with solid understanding of the National Curriculum across KS2.
• Versatile and resilient, able to move between year groups and adapt tone for different ages.
• Enhanced DBS on update service (or willing to apply) and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead KS2 lessons across Years 3–6 with confidence and classroom presence.
• Deliver high-quality lessons in core subjects and foundation topics.
• Maintain high expectations for work and behaviour in pupils.
• Collaborate with Year Group Leads and teaching assistants to follow school routines.
