Ribbons & Reeves in Hillingdon is seeking an experienced KS2 SEMH Teacher to join from October, delivering care and high-quality teaching to pupils with SEMH needs.

The role covers a small class of Year 3-5 pupils, requires QTS recognised in the UK, and strong classroom management. You will build trusting relationships and adapt lessons to individual needs, supporting personal development and attendance.

Qualifikationen

• Must be an experienced KS2 SEMH Teacher with primary teaching background.
• Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs.
• Proven ability to plan engaging lessons for KS2 (Year 3–5).
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff.
• Strong behavior management and high expectations for learning and development.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Create a calm, structured and supportive learning environment.
• Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Adapt teaching and learning to meet individual SEMH needs.
• QTS recognised in the UK.
• Previous experience working in a SEN setting.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
• Experience teaching at KS2 level.
• A patient, calm and nurturing approach.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
