I hope you are well- would you be interested in the below? I am looking for Academic Staff - Tutors to support looked after children and students with EHCP's on a 1-1 basis with their core and vocational subjects.

Location: Wakefield
Pay Rate: GBP20 - GBP30 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible
Choose your own hours - work morning, noon's or evenings.
Work locally and help students to achieve their full potential.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide structured, focused support in Maths, English or Functional Skills at KS2-KS3 level.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
  • Deliver engaging lessons to boost academic confidence and exam performance.
  • Work closely with learners to identify gaps and set realistic, motivating goals.
What You Need:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience tutoring or teaching core subjects.
  • Experience working with diverse learners, including those with SEN.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Have or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable:
  • PGCE or QTS in a core subject (English, Maths or Science).
  • Previous experience supporting students with learning difficulties or SEN needs.
