Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking a Class Teacher for a maternity cover at Shustoke C of E Primary School in Warwickshire. The role is a fixed-term contract commencing January 2027, for KS2, with scale points M1-M6.

Qualifications

Hold Qualified Teacher Status and meet the Teachers’ Standards.
Knowledge of Foundation Stage, National Curriculum and RE syllabus.
Understanding safeguarding policies and reporting concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

Carry out duties of a school teacher as per the School Teachers Pay and Conditions document and Teachers’ Standards.
Plan and deliver lessons aligned with Early Learning Goals and the National Curriculum.
Use assessment information to inform planning and monitor pupil progress.
Provide constructive feedback on class work and homework and set targets.
Maintain safe environment and manage behaviour with high expectations.
Know and apply SEN identification, assessment and support processes.
