Job summary

This permanent, full-time role starts in October 2026 and is based in Blackburn, with responsibilities to plan, teach and assess engaging KS2 lessons across a supportive and pupil-centred environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach and assess engaging lessons for pupils in Key Stage 2, ensuring high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Deliver an ambitious and skills-rich curriculum that builds on children’s prior knowledge and supports meaningful progress.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued, safe and motivated to succeed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Promote pupils’ personal development, confidence and independence.
