Full-Time KS2 Teacher – Glastonbury
Start Date: After October Half-Term | M1–M6 | Full-Time

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and busy primary school in Glastonbury, who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team after the October half-term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working in a fast-paced school environment, is confident managing behaviour and wants to become a valued part of a strong school community.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Have previous KS2 teaching experience
  • Be confident and consistent with behaviour management
  • Have a good understanding of SEND and the different needs within a classroom
  • Be hardworking, thoughtful and committed to providing the best outcomes for pupils
  • Be a positive team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues
  • Be adaptable and able to thrive in a busy, fast-paced school environment
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers
  • Bring enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for primary education
Teaching Personnel Vetting Requirements

All successful applicants will be required to complete our comprehensive safeguarding and compliance checks before starting work. These include:

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS – either on the Update Service or applied for through Teaching Personnel
  • Right to Work in the UK checks
  • Proof of identity and address
  • Verification of relevant qualifications/QTS
  • Full employment history and explanation of any gaps
  • References covering recent employment
  • Face-to-face or video interview with a Teaching Personnel consultant
  • Safeguarding and Prevent training
  • Completion of required declarations and compliance documentation
  • Social media and safeguarding checks where applicable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
