Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group are recruiting a KS2 ASD Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Slough on a full-time basis. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with ASD, helping them access learning, develop independence and manage their behaviour, under the guidance of the class teacher.

The role offers immediate start and a daily rate of £95-£110, depending on experience, with an opportunity to contribute to a caring, structured learning environment for children

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with ASD (preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience and adaptability in a SEN setting

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to KS2 pupils with ASD
• Assist with classroom activities and learning objectives
• Support communication, social development and behaviour management
• Collaborate with the class teacher and support staff to track progress
