Castle Hill Infant and Junior Schools in Ipswich are seeking a motivated teaching assistant to join our team ASAP. Training will be provided; prior experience is welcome. You will support in small groups and contribute to high standards of learning, working flexibly both independently and as part of a team.

• Be a team player who is solution focused, patient and caring.
• Have the ability to think on your feet and use your own initiative.
• Have a good knowledge of or be prepared to learn about sensory strategies and how to use these to support children to self-regulate or be willing to learn.
• Have an understanding of different communication methods.
• Provide support for children by implementing an effective range of learning strategies to ensure outstanding learning outcomes for all students
• Work closely with the class teacher
• Liaise with teaching staff to plan and deliver classroom support.

Salary: Grade 3 Point 4 - 6 £26016.00 - £26847 FTE (this figure will be prorated to the hours and weeks of work) Hourly Rate £13.48 - £13.92
