Job summary

Educato Limited seeks a dedicated KS1 teacher for a long-term role in a Ramsbottom primary school. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned to the KS1 National Curriculum and support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

You will assess progress, adapt learning, manage a safe, inclusive classroom, and work with the SENCO and support staff. QTS or ECT and the right to work in the UK are required, full-time availability essential.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver KS1 lessons
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom
• Support pupils with additional needs with SENCO
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Uphold behaviour policy and promote positive behaviour for learning
• Fulfil Teachers' Standards (QTS/ECT)
• Experience teaching in UK primary school (placements welcome for ECTs)

Responsibilities

• Plan engaging KS1 lessons aligned to the Primary National Curriculum.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to need.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils with additional needs with SENCO and staff.
• Engage with parents and colleagues for pupil development.
