Job summary

Qualifications

QTS is essential.
Existing KS1 teaching experience is desirable.
Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
Ability to create a safe, stimulating and well-managed learning environment.
Patient, approachable and professional attitude.
Must hold a current DBS certificate or be willing to apply for a new one.
Drivers are preferred, with a full UK driving licence and access to transport advantageous.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom that promotes learning and pupil confidence.
Maintain effective classroom routines and high expectations for behaviour.
Use appropriate behaviour management techniques to keep pupils focused and engaged.
Adapt teaching approaches for different abilities and learning needs.
Track pupil progress and provide support to help children achieve learning goals.
Collaborate with staff to support pupils' overall development.
