Job summary

Reed Education in Wakefield is seeking KS1 Teachers for flexible supply, long-term and permanent opportunities across local primary schools. You will deliver engaging lessons, align with the KS1 National Curriculum, and support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.

Qualifications

QTS in the UK.
Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
Strong KS1 curriculum knowledge.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
Ability to build positive relationships quickly with pupils and colleagues.
Professional, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and creative KS1 lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Monitor pupil progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs.
Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in the classroom.
Support children's academic, social and emotional development.
Collaborate with school staff, parents and carers to support outcomes.
Contribute positively to the wider school community.
Participate in school-wide activities and ongoing professional development.
