Your new school

Lift Charles Warren is an inclusive primary for children aged 4 to 11, with both mainstream classes and a specialist provision for pupils in EYFS to the end of Key Stage 1. Set in the beautiful village of Simpson the school is surrounded by trees and bordered by the canal, giving children the benefit of extensive grounds and a wonderful environment in which to learn and play. The school is led by an ambitious and dedicated Principal, Mrs Sharon Burke, she has established a strong and personable team and in July 2025 received a fantastic Ofsted with areas being ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’. This is an exciting time to join as we search for a KS1 teacher to join us.

We are looking for a driven KS1 teacher to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, facilitate a positive learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will be a qualified teacher who has patience and understanding with young children. You’ll be able to quickly adjust teaching methods to meet the needs of all children. It’s important you have the flexibility to be able to handle unexpected situations with professionalism and patience in interactions with a variety of children and situations, with a calm demeanour.
