Job summary

EDU Passport LLC is seeking a KS1 Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support a child with ASD in a mainstream Harrow school. The role runs September 2026 to July 2027, Monday to Friday, with PAYE daily pay rates.

You will work under the guidance of the on-site SENCO and school psychologists to promote inclusive learning and positive behaviour. Ideal candidates will have experience in SEND, a suitable degree (e.g., Psychology, Health & Social Care, Speech and Language), and the right to work in

Qualifications

  • Experience with students who have special needs or disabilities.
  • Right to work in the UK; experience working in the UK is preferred.
  • Patience, initiative, and a proactive approach to support learning.

Responsibilities

  • Support a child with ASD in KS1 with challenging behaviour.
  • Assist class teacher and SENCO in planning and delivering activities.
  • Monitor student progress and report observations.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with behavioural strategies and positive reinforcement.
