Job summary

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Recent teaching experience in a school or education setting
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Exceptional organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning

Responsibilities

• Teach the children in class and ensure they complete their work to a high standard
• Guide children through the curriculum, mark work and set homework tasks
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Uphold the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Promote an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
