Job summary

Welbeck Academy, part of WISE Academies, is seeking a KS1 Classroom Teacher on a fixed-term basis. The role is full-time (32.5 hours per week) during term time plus specified days, with a starting salary negotiable for exceptional applicants.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status is required.
• A degree level qualification and then postgraduate teaching training are required.
• Demonstrate ability to inspire and motivate children.
• Have outstanding classroom practice and a track record of raising standards.
• Exhibit excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Be confident in planning, assessing and setting targets.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS1 as allocated by the school.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and assess student progress.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress against targets.
• Collaborate with colleagues to raise standards and support school development.
