Job summary

LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking an experienced Knowledge Lawyer in Private Client to shape high-quality legal content for the Lexis+ Practical Guidance Private Client module. You will stay at the forefront of Private Client developments and engage with practising lawyers to deliver indispensable content.

You will contribute to the current awareness service, monitor relevant legal trends, and collaborate with a skilled team to support professionals with practical guidance and insights.

Qualifications

• A qualified lawyer with significant Private Client experience in England & Wales.
• Full member of STEP.
• Excellent technical knowledge of Private Client law, including Private Client taxation.
• Awareness of the legal issues and developments affecting Private Client lawyers.
• Ability to communicate complex legal and procedural concepts clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Creating, developing, and maintaining market-leading content for the Lexis+ Practical Guidance Private Client module (notes, precedents, checklists, flowcharts).
• Contributing to the Private Client current awareness service by reporting developments and cases for Private Client lawyers.
• Monitoring legal and industry developments relevant to our client base.

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client lawyer to join the Lexis+ Practical Guidance team and contribute to the online practical guidance and current awareness offering of the Lexis+ Private Client module. In this role, you will help deliver indispensable content that customers value by staying at the forefront of Private Client legal developments and engaging with practising lawyers. You will play an important role in shaping high-quality legal content and insights for the profession.

Responsibilities

• Creating, developing, and maintaining a market-leading content set for the Lexis+ Practical Guidance Private Client module (practice notes, precedents, checklists, flowcharts etc)
• Contributing to the Lexis+ Practical Guidance Private Client current awareness service by selecting appropriate developments and cases to report on and delivering updates and analysis targeted towards Private Client lawyers
• Monitoring legal and industry developments relevant to our customer base

Requirements

• A qualified lawyer, with significant and broad experience of Private Client law in England & Wales
• Full member of STEP
• Excellent technical knowledge of Private Client law, including Private Client taxation
• Awareness of the legal issues and developments affecting Private Client lawyers
• Ability to communicate complex legal and procedural concepts and their practical application concisely and clearly
