Job summary

Whitbread’s Newark Premier Inn is recruiting a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and plate meals for guests. The role is 10 contracted hours per week with pay up to £13.06 per hour, and a permanent contract at Lincoln Road, Newark NG24 2DB.

Evenings, weekends and busy periods are included. You’ll prep ingredients before service, cook during breakfast and dinner, keep the kitchen clean, receive deliveries and work with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; but willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be.
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly.
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.
