Job summary

J D Wetherspoon in Bath is seeking team members for the kitchen to prepare and cook food, helping to keep the kitchen running smoothly, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer service. Our pubs open early and close late, offering flexibility with shifts—mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

No experience is required; a good attitude and willingness to learn are valued, with training provided via our award-winning program and opportunities for progression

Qualifications

• Calm head under pressure and team player.
• Flexible with shift patterns including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting food to the correct spec.
• Operating kitchen work stations (grills, fryers, microwaves and more).
• Working as a team to meet time and quality targets.
• Following hygiene, allergen, health and safety standards.
• Cleaning as you go and during full kitchen clean-downs.
• Rotating stock and storing food safely.
• Completing induction and ongoing training and contributing to improvements.
