Slug & Lettuce is hiring a Kitchen Team Member at our Reading venue. You will support the Head Chef with orders, stock takes and hygiene, helping to maintain a clean, efficient kitchen while producing high-quality dishes for guests.

Qualifications

• A passion for Hospitality.
• Willingness to learn new skills everyday.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Ability to assist Head Chef with orders, stock taking, food hygiene.
• Experience maintaining kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation.
• Produce high-quality dishes consistently to specification for our guests.
• Ensure the kitchen is in an excellent, clean and hygienic condition at all times.
• Overseeing deliveries.
• Offer suggestions and creative ideas that can improve the kitchen’s performance.
• Work with the team to achieve company targets.
