Job summary

Chef & Brewer in Burton Joyce is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to guide and support a busy kitchen, ensuring every dish meets our high standards and customers' expectations. You’ll lead by example, mentor your team, and deputise for management during busy periods.

You’ll maintain hygiene and safety, organise service, and stay calm under pressure. A passion for great pub food, strong communication in English, and the ability to adapt on the fly are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen leadership role.
• Knowledge of food safety and allergen controls.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Excellent communication in English.

• A passion for delivering tasty and well-presented meals to customers each and every time.
• Be a role model to the team by maintaining high standards and making sure every customer receives the perfect plate.
• An ability to think on your feet and adapt to whatever challenges arise during a busy service.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
