A leading rodizio restaurant in Edinburgh is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the kitchen operations and mentor the team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for food presentation, and an understanding of food hygiene. This position offers competitive pay with benefits including holiday closures for family time and discounts while dining.
The advertised salary is made up of an hourly wage of £12.30 and anticipated tronc of £7.21 per hour.
We are looking for a chef to join our team as a Kitchen Supervisor! Our Kitchen Supervisors are responsible, alongside the Kitchen Person in Charge, for overseeing the kitchen team, coaching and mentoring them in their daily tasks, ensuring they work efficiently; serving perfectly presented food for guests, maintaining optimal stock levels of ingredients and prepared food items; and ensuring due diligence and compliance with all relevant health and safety and food safety legislation.

As a rodizio restaurant our back of house is split in to two; the kitchen and the grill. Our meats are prepared and cooked in the grill section, whilst the self service Market Table, a la carte dishes, desserts and vegetarian options are created in the kitchen. As a Kitchen Trainer you will ensure our kitchen prepared dishes are cooked to the highest standards as well as acting as a role model for your team.
