Job summary

The Sir Walter Scott, Edinburgh Airport, is seeking Full-Time Kitchen Staff to join our busy kitchen team. Shifts run from 03:00 to 23:00, with a 40-hour week and a 4-day working pattern.

We provide full training and uniform, and offer an hourly rate of £15.30 plus a £1 premium for hours between midnight and 05:59. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, provide photographic ID, and be able to show a 5-year employment/education history.

Full-Time Kitchen Staff - 4-Day Working Week

We are looking for full-time kitchen staff to join our team, with shifts scheduled between 03:00 and 23:00.

4-day working week

8-10 hour shifts

All training and uniform provided

£1 per hour premium for all hours worked between 00:00 and 05:59

Due to the working hours, this position is not suitable for applicants under 18

The Role

At a glance, your role is to deliver excellent customer service to make hungry and thirsty customers happy by supporting the day to day running of a busy kitchen. All to be discussed during the interview.

Duties Include

• preparing, cooking and presenting food to the correct spec
• operating kitchen work stations, including grills, fryers, microwaves and more
• working as a team to keep to time and quality targets
• following food hygiene and allergen, as well as health and safety, standards
• cleaning as you go, including full kitchen clean-downs
• rotating stock and storing food safelycompleting required induction, role-specific and ongoing refresher training and contributing to continuous improvement
