Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking Kitchen Sales Designers to thrive in a fast-paced, sales-driven role. You will support trade customers and clients with professional design services, drive depot performance, and deliver exceptional customer service on home visits.

No prior design experience is required as we provide comprehensive design and sales training, a strong bonus culture, and excellent pension and leave benefits.

Qualifications

• Target driven with experience in hitting sales targets and KPIs.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with trade customers and their clients.
• Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
• Full UK driving license with access to own vehicle for home visits.
• Strong attention to detail and eye for design; CAD skills are preferred but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and depot profit by hitting targets.
• Build strong customer relationships through professional design support.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct home visits to measure, assess and understand client needs.
• Negotiate prices confidently while protecting margin and design integrity.
• Plan and create inspirational and practical designs using product knowledge.
