Job summary

The Cricketers in Horsell, part of Barons Pub Company, is hiring a Kitchen Porter on a full-time basis. This role involves pot washing, basic food prep support, and general kitchen cleanliness to maintain a high standard of hygiene and service.

No previous kitchen experience is required as full training is provided, and there is a clear progression path via our Barons Training Academy. Flexible shift patterns include lunchtimes, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Based in Horsell (Surrey).

Responsibilities

• Wash pots and utensils.
• Clean the kitchen and yard including jet washing.
• Assist with food preparation and portioning.
• Check deliveries on arrival and store properly.
• Follow hygiene and safety guidelines.

Kitchen Porter, full-time - 37 to 45 hours a week The Cricketers, Horsell, Woking, Surrey, GU21 4XB You must be flexible to work the different shift patterns - lunchtimes and/or evenings and weekends Can be 11.30pm finish for evening shifts…please check travel before you apply. Tasks include pot washing, jet washing the yard, food preparation, food portioning, checking in deliveries and general cleaning work. Experience is not essential as full training will be given. We know that being a Kitchen Porter in a busy kitchen can often be the hardest job….so we make sure that we create a respectful, supportive working environment. All successful candidates will enrol on the Barons Training Academy and will be given the opportunity to achieve nationally recognised qualifications whilst working in their role.
